Ilha de Tavira-Mar

Ilha de Tavira–Mar lies in Tavira, on the barrier-island coast of the Ria Formosa, where the ocean beach is separated from the mainland by tidal channels, salt marshes and shallow lagoons. Ferries connect the island with Tavira and Quatro Águas, bringing visitors to a broad ocean beach beyond the lagoon.
