Quarteira Poente is the western section of Quarteira's long urban beach, extending towards Vilamoura and the Ribeira de Quarteira. Its broad sand, promenade access and position between a traditional fishing town and a major marina resort create a practical central Algarve shoreline.

Quarteira Poente is defined by connection: fishing town, urban family beach and a walkable transition towards Vilamoura's marina district. The level promenade also suits pushchairs, older visitors and anyone combining the beach with town services. Early morning is quieter for swimming or exercise, while later hours bring more restaurant activity and a steady flow of walkers between Quarteira and Vilamoura. The western end also offers a useful starting point for evening walks around the marina district. Sunset views remain especially attractive.
